Designer Kayoko Takeo-Koehl began designing notebooks as a retail extension of her family’s 100 year old wholesale paper company in Japan. Their tagline ‘stationery like a dress, with a dress’ embodies the theory that although the inside papers are exquisite enough to stand alone, they take it one step further in putting on the finishing touches with equally exquisite, tactile paper covers.
